Why I love Illinois!

Illlonis, the land of Lincoln, the land where the landscapes are neverending - I never thought this state was anything special but now I am here and I can't imagine my life in any other place! I fell in love with Illinois because of one of the coolest places in America - Chicago! How great it is to go to Chicago! To ride the CTA and visit State Street, Millenium Park, the Shedd Aquarium, the Art Institute of Chicago, Lincoln Ave, the Lincoln Park Zoo, the Soldier Field  (home of the Chicago Bears football team) and ,of course, Lake Michigan and Navy Pier!

Chicago is an amazing cultural city, its downtown filled with nice shops, and the Sears Tower, the tallest building in the US, adds to the impressive skyline. But the fun continues when you go to Union Station and take a Metra train to the suburbs! Lisle, Illinois, is known as "the arboretum village" where you can find the "Morton Arboretum" that holds thousands of trees from all over the world.

Nearby you can find Naperville which has a downtown that you can spend a whole afternoon walking, exploring and enjoying. Aurora is also a nice suburb and you can find anything you need there, specially if you drive on Route 59, it is amazing!  I love Illinois and I hope I can visit its capital, Springfield, but for now, I am just enjoying what the city of Chicago has to offer.
